I am a writer. And an editor. Sometimes a copywriter. My passion for writing started with overly dramatic entries in a little multi-colored diary and stems from a love of books.
I enjoy editing and crafting beautiful sententry (<--see, I made that up). Other things I love: indie movies and/or overly-stupid comedic movies (i.e. Billy Madison, Grandma's Boy, The Hangover), kitty cats, anything pertaining to food and drink (minus anything pertaining to curry), and sleep.
I earned a B.A. in Writing Seminars from the Johns Hopkins University in 2007. My work has been featured in Sister 2 Sister, Vibe Vixen, Girls' Life, Baltimore, What's Up? Annapolis, Honeymag.com, Jonesmag.com, Six Sentences and Iconography the Magazine blog. I have been a book reviewer for Kiwibox.com and gone backstage to report on Fashion Week beauty for BeautyNewsNYC.com. The universe has granted me interviews with actor Laz Alonso, singer D. Woods, actor Lance Gross, fashion maven June Ambrose, supermodel Donna Feldman, artist/producer 9th Wonder and DJ Quicksilva. I have had the pleasure of speaking with beauty gurus: Sam Fine, Ted Gibson, Tina Turnbow, Tippi Shorter, Dickey, Marcia Hamilton, Ja'Maal Buster and Saisha Beecham.
One word to describe me: chill. One of my ultimate goals: to have a book on my bookshelf...written by me. Another one: find balance.
